Intended For Your Good!

Genesis 50:20

"You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives."

INSPIRATION

When people intentionally try to bring you down, it's usually because they don't think much of themselves in the first place and will try to keep you from growing also. Well unfortunately for them, you know a God who has your back! Simply ignore the things that may hinder you from keeping a smile on your face or may cause you to pause from seeing your goals. Today, finish what you've started…it is intended for you good!

Order My Tongue, In Your Word

Proverbs 13:3

He who guards his lips guards his life, but he who speaks rashly will come to ruin.

INSPIRATION

All of us were once taught that if we didn't have anything nice to say, not to say it at all. How many of us practice it? We must be careful in choosing our words when talking about people because the same gossip that flows from the mouth is the same gossip that flows from the heart. Don't allow your heart to become filled with so much garbage that there is very little room for love.

Changing Patterns

Romans 12:2

"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is -- his good, pleasing and perfect will."

INSPIRATION

Repeating the same mistake is a bad pattern to follow. At some point, you have to tell yourself, "This just isn't working; God I need help!" At that point, God immediately begins to intervene and shows an easier way. Today, get good and tired of your pattern and let God's will lead you to easier days.

So Amazing

Luke 2:18-19

And all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.

INSPIRATION

Amazement is usually the result of being surprised by something. And, your surprise is usually the result of seeing something happen that you never thought would happen. When you share your amazing news, don't be surprised of how fast the word gets out and how happy others will be for you. Remember to treasure those amazing moments, keep a humble heart and always remember to give thanks for His Amazing Grace!!

Speak Life

Psalm 16:11

"You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand."

INSPIRATION:

The path is called "Life." This means that if there is anything in your path that doesn't speak life, represent life or appears to have no life, then it needs to be kicked off your path. Things or people who do not represent growth can stunt your own growth and prohibit your joy from being shown. Today, bury the dead things in your life!

The Master of Your Skill Is You!

Exodus 35:35

"[God] has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as craftsmen, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers - all of them master craftsmen and designers."

INSPIRATION

Don't you realize God created you to be master of your skill? What does that mean? It means you shouldn't allow anyone to tell you what you can't grow into. Whatever your craft is, know that God filled you with this skill not just for your advancement, but for you to Master it! Today, if you've been holding back because of someone else's opinion of your God given talent, I dare you to move FORWARD!

Cut It Off!

John 15:2

[Jesus says,] "He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful."

INSPIRATION

Every now and then, the pruning or discarding of unnecessary things in our lives must occur. Too often we walk around with the pains and disappointments of yesterday and never allow ourselves to move forward. Today, cut off all the branches from your past which have hindered you from becoming the best you can be. You may need to start with some of the people you hang with.

Working From The Heart

Proverbs 27:2

Let another praise you, and not your own mouth— a stranger, and not your own lips.

INSPIRATION

Nobody likes a show-off or a big mouth. If your heart is genuine, and your work is truthful, people will see and hear you without your help.

Believe In Yourself!

Proverbs 16:3

Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.

INSPIRATION

In order to have commitment, you must have discipline if you want to succeed. You have to set up a plan from the very beginning that no matter how tired you get, you will not stop. No matter how frustrated you may get, you will not stop. No matter how many people don't believe in you, you will not stop! When you make a commitment to yourself, you are also making one to God. Believe in yourself because He already believes in you. Today, do not stop!

Let The Weak Say I Am Strong!

Romans 5:6-8

For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

INSPIRATON

Not having Christ in your life or not asking Christ to guide you can leave you weak. When you're weak, you cannot make good decisions or be productive. The next time you feel weak, plug yourself back into Christ and watch your energy become restored.

Needs vs. Wants

Matthew 5:6

"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled."

INSPIRATION

The "wants" in our lives are optional and the "needs" in our lives are essential. We should never just want to do good for others or just want to be nice; but rather, we need to do better for each other and we need to show love. Once you have turned your mission from wanting to live for Christ into needing to live for Christ, you'll never want for anything else!

Healthcare Form

Psalm 103:2

Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.

INSPIRATION

A benefits package is an added entity which makes you decide whether or not you want a particular job. Working for Christ works the same way. You either like the benefits of following Him or you think you don't need Him. Try to imagine a life without the benefits of Christ …there is no comparison.

Taking Action!

James 2:17

"Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead."

INSPIRATION

There is no point in just saying you have faith. Your true faith becomes reality when you put your beliefs into action and not walk around worried if you made the right decision or not. Today, don't just believe it can happen, make it happen!

Too Equipped To Fail!

2 Timothy 1:7

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.

INSPIRATION

Power, Love and Self-discipline are all necessary tools given to you by God to help you break down obstacles and overcome all your fears. Whatever you stand in the need of right now, know that it's already in you to succeed. Your theme for the new year should be, "He has equipped me with too much to fail!"
