His Reach

Jeremiah 32:17 "Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you." INSPIRATION: Where ever God stretches His arms, know that you are also within this reach. All that He has made is great, including you. Today, stay encouraged that even your situation isn't too hard for God. Reach back to Him to receive your power to move forward.

From Beginning to the End

Revelation 22:13 [Jesus says,] "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End." INSPIRATION: In order for God to have control in your life, you have to declare who He is in the beginning, praise Him in the middle, and bless Him at the end. Declare Him today to start something new in you and He will see you to the very end of that goal.

 

Fear Not!

Psalm 27:1 "The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" INSPIRATION: This is a psalm of encouragement to reassure us that nothing we face is too hard for God. If there is fear inside of you, release it now because it is holding you back from success. Allow God's stronghold to keep you focused on your goals and you'll never want to turn back ever again. Today, fear not!

Looking To The Hill

Isaiah 43:3 "O send out your light and your truth; let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy hill and to your dwelling." INSPIRATION: When you don't know what to say when you need God to direct your life, consider this verse. As long as you keep positive things in front of you, you will get positive results. Today, if it looks, sounds or even appears negative, step away; it will throw you of your course.

A Promise Fulfilled

Jeremiah 33:14
"Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will fulfill the promise I made to the house of Israel and the house of Judah." INSPIRATION: When you have moments of doubt and uncertainty, know that God is still there. It is not that He does not hear you; it is simply because He fulfills His promise in His time and not in our time. You may be tired of waiting, but just keep on pushing anyhow…your promise will be fulfilled!

The Reason for the Season

John 1:9 "The true light that enlightens every man was coming into the world." INSPIRATION: The Christmas season is not about preparing the shopping lists, wrapping gifts, or getting stressed about finances. Christmas or rather, Advent prepares us for the coming of Christ. As you continue to prepare your family for the traditions of this season, be sure you are also preparing your family to keep Christ first.

Wake Up Sleepy Head!

Proverbs 20:13 "Do not love sleep or you will grow poor; stay awake and you will have food to spare." INSPIRATION: Sleeping and laying down even when you're not tired are missed opportunities of helping you grow. Then next time you catch yourself just laying around doing nothing productive or watching the same rerun of a television show, get up and do something prolific. Remember this, in order to get ahead, you have to wake up from your dreams and put the plan in action!

Story Sharing

Philemon 1:6 "I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ." INSPIRATION: We have more in common with other people than we like to think. Sharing your testimony with people is not only therapeutic for you, but it sometimes offers hope to someone else for their struggle. Don't just take my word…try sharing your story today and watch their reaction. You may be the answer they've needed all along.

The Action Plan

James 2:17 "Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." INSPIRATION: There is no point in just saying you have faith. Your true faith becomes reality when you put your beliefs into action and not walk around worried if you made the right decision or not. Today, don't just believe it can happen, make it happen!

Be Thankful for the Benefits!

Psalm 103:2 “Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.” INSPIRATION: As we approach Thanksgiving Day, don’t just reflect on all the things God has done for you; but rather, reflect on all the things you didn’t expect Him to bless you with. All of the “extras” you experienced this year were not coincidences…they were His benefits!
