One Last Cry

Jeremiah 31:16

This is what the LORD says: "Restrain your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears, for your work will be rewarded," declares the LORD. "They will return from the land of the enemy.

INSPIRATION

Yes, a good cry is good for the soul. It cleanses and it removes the immediate pain you are feeling; but, at some point, the crying and the worrying must stop in order for you to move on. Once you begin to move on, your focus is clearer and you can get back to the important things in life; like your goals! Today, push yourself through any pain to reach your reward!

I Just Can’t Give Up Now

Galatians 6:9

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

INSPIRATION

The most detrimental thing you can do while fighting for your goals is to give up. Yes, circumstances and people will try to throw you off your course, but you have to stand firm on your foundation to keep pushing ahead. Today, don't give up! You've come too far to turn around now.

Growing in the Lord

John 15:16

[Jesus says], "You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit -- fruit that will last."

INSPIRATION

Whatever race God has asked for you to run; run knowing that He chose you out of so many because He knew you would represent His Kingdom to others. As others see the shine in your life, know that it came from God choosing you and the more they are attracted to the Kingdom, the larger the Kingdom will grow.

The Right Decision Is In Front of You!

Isaiah 30:21

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, "This is the way, walk in it."

INSPIRATION

The right decision is always right in front of us, but sometimes we choose the path with more obstacles because perhaps we may be thinking, "If it's too easy, there must be a catch to it. Well the only "catch" to traveling on the right path is you have to stay on the path that makes sense for you. Today, don't over think the obvious; save yourself some time and walk in the direction of success!

Stress Reliever

Isaiah 33:2

O LORD, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress.

INSPIRATION

Sometimes, we feel stressed in the morning because we immediately begin to think about everything that has to be done before the evening begins. A good stress reliever before stepping out of the bed would be to say, "Thank you God for waking me up. Let my heart not be troubled by anything you can't help me solve." Take a deep breath and then execute your day. Try that every morning and watch how trouble rolls off your back with no problem.

Wait for your “Yes”

1 Peter 1:7

These [trials] have come so that your faith -- of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire -- may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

INSPIRATION

Let's face it; we would all love to hear God say yes to all of our requests when we want it, right? Well unfortunately, sometimes God has to delay some victories so that we can appreciate His "Yes Time." You may feel like all you hear is, "No or not now," but realize that when your season of "Yes" arrives, you'll be able to look back and be thankful that yesterday is gone and your future is looking brighter. Today, don't rush the "Yes Season." It will arrive sooner than you think.

Gossip The Good News

Isaiah 12:4-5

"Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted. Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world."

 

INSPIRATION

Too often we are quick to only report bad news when good news is just as worthy to gossip about. "Good news gossip" allows God's word to reach everyone so that everyone can witness the miracles He performs in our lives. Today, gossip some good news and see how fast it spreads.

Not Just Another Ordinary Day

Psalm 90:12

Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

INSPIRATION

When you wake up in the morning, you have to consider that each day is a new day to learn something new. With each new day, you are afforded the opportunity to learn something new which brings you one step closer to your goal. Today, don't look at today as just another ordinary day, but look at it as an opportunity to gain more wisdom.

Let It Go!

1 Thessalonians 5:15

Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else.

INSPIRATION

Revenge never solves the original problem. It only intensifies your anger and never allows proper healing. Although it may be hard to do, it really is worth your peace to just let some things go! Whatever favor they never completed, let it go! Whatever they haven't returned to you, let it go! And for the sake of sleeping at peace through the night, if they never return, let them go! Get your peace back and let that "thing" GO!

He Is Consistent

Jeremiah 23:23

"Am I only a God nearby," declares the LORD, "and not a God far away?"

INSPIRATION

God is not just a God of good times; but, He is also good when you think you can't feel His presence. He maintains His consistent goodness regardless of what season you may be in so maintain the same level of praise regardless of your surroundings. Today, in spite of how you feel, call on God anyway! He is the same God today as He was yesterday.

Safe In His Hands

Psalm 73:28

But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign LORD my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds.

INSPIRATION

The safest place to be when you find yourself at a crossroad is a place where you and God cannot be interrupted. Whether you are making decisions for your business, job, school, or even your church, consultation with God is always secure, confidential and will always lead you in the right direction. Today, rest your decisions in God's hands and when it's all revealed to you, don't forget to tell others about where God has brought you from.

I’ll Get To It Today!

Matthew 6:34

[Jesus says,] "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

INSPIRATION

"I'll get to it tomorrow." Don't get stuck using this phrase too often because it has the capability of turning into a pattern, and before you know it, years have gone by. Instead, finish what you've set out to accomplish each day so that when new days arrive, you can have new ideas, new goals, and new dreams. Today, say, "I'll get to it TODAY!"

Plan and Execute

GENESIS 26:12

Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him.

INSPIRATION

Executing the plan you have in place to achieve your goals requires consistency, sacrifice, and a lot of discipline. You may have missed out on some great events or even the "party of the year" to get your job done, but at the end, if you have accomplished what you set out to do, the only thing you would have missed was the opportunity to move ahead. Today, P.U.S.H!...Pray Until Something Happens!

Love Supports Everything

Psalm 94:18

When I said, "My foot is slipping," your love, O LORD, supported me.

INSPIRATION

It is God's love which lifts you when you can't feel love from anyone else. It is God's love which brings us out of darkness when the light cannot be found. It is God's love that touches you every morning to wake up and achieve goals beyond your imagination. Today, allow God's love to support you in all your decisions. Even if you feel yourself slipping, know that your support is standing right there waiting to catch you.

How Great is Our God!

GENESIS 12:2

I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing.

INSPIRATION

God's promise of greatness is for anyone who desires greatness. Every day is a new chance to get better and better at what you have been designed to perfect. And then the beauty of God's promise is that once you have reached this plateau, you will then be in a position to lift up others. Today, know that you are great!

Worship From Within

Isaiah 29:13-14

The Lord says: "These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is made up only of rules taught by men. Therefore once more I will astound these people with wonder upon wonder; the wisdom of the wise will perish, the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish."

INSPIRATION

God is displeased when we claim to believe in His word and then don't allow Him to work things out for us. If you trust and believe that your current position is only a step for your next level, then worship God from the deepest part of your heart and let him bring you out.

There Is Security in Your Refuge

Psalm 16:1-2

Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge. I said to the LORD, "You are my Lord. Apart from you I have no good thing."

INSPIRATION

Sometimes, people use negativity to try to tear down your spirit. Perhaps they continue to do this because they sense your vulnerable state of mind; but, when you declare that the Lord is your refuge, you are now making everything and everyone around you aware that in that state of mind, God's got your back! Today, place all your insecurities, doubts in fear in God's hands because in Him, there is security against all negativity.

Weathering the Storm

Matthew 7:24-25

"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock."

INSPIRATION

Storms come in all shapes and sizes and are sometimes unpredictable. Whether you knew the storm was brewing, on its way, or has already it, your foundation in Christ will determine if you were prepared ahead of time. Today, take God's law and apply its principals to your decisions and you will see that no matter comes your way, you will now be in the position to withstand anything!

Humility is the best Policy

1 Peter 5:6

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.

INSPIRATION

Growing in your blessings requires humility. Humility keeps your ego out of way so that you don't become bigger than your reality. You don't have to spend time lifting up your own name to everyone around you when God wants to do that for you in due time. Today, remove all the pride and ego and you'll witness God lifting you higher and higher not just for you, but for His purpose.

Working With Passion

Exodus 35:35

"[God] has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as craftsmen, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers - all of them master craftsmen and designers."

INSPIRATION

Your craft isn't the job or even the career you go to everyday; no, your craft is that talent you would perform at any given moment and not even expect to get paid for it. All of us have something deeper within us to fulfill and these dreams are fulfilled when we perform the task with passion. When passion is put into a task, you give it more care, more attention, and you desire to see the results of your hard work. Today, don't just work; work with passion so that you can be proud of your work.

Dreams Do Come True

Deuteronomy 29:29

The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.

INSPIRATION

What God has planned for your life cannot be revealed all at once because it would be too much to take on and you risk losing your focus on God. Instead, God reveals our victory in increments according to each step of faith we take with Him. What He has already given you, keep is close to your heart so that you can always remember how wonderful it feels when a dream becomes a reality.

Knock, Knock...Who's There?

Revelation 3:20
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.

INSPIRATION
Don’t mistake the “door” as just a door in your house. The Lord can stand knocking anywhere to get your attention. The only key to answering the knock is to already know Him for yourself. Today, listen for God trying to get your attention from all your distractions and open the door to your new level of peace.
