I’m Not Ashamed

Jeremiah 20:18

"Why did I ever come out of the womb to see trouble and sorrow and to end my days in shame?

Since the day you were born, a purpose was assigned to you to fulfill. And although you may have experienced rough patches and disappointments along the way, know that each patch made you stronger and wiser in obtaining your goal. Today, don't look at problems as the end but as an opportunity to become stronger in the race…and there is no shame in growing stronger in the Lord!

The Next Step

Isaiah 58:11

[God says,] "The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail."

It's understandable to be afraid of the next step because where you are right now is comfortable, predictable, and safe. But when comfortable is no longer enough, you have to make a decision to move towards greatness and remember who is taking the next step with you.

A New Me!

Psalm 51:10

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Asking for a new heart comes with a new way of thinking, a new attitude, and a new purpose in life. It also means that whatever you gave up on before, it will not be able to defeat you again! A new you takes you with God to your next level so remain steadfast!

The Fire That Will Never Burn You

Isaiah 43:2

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

As you continue to grow in your success, know that God is taking the steps with you. Today, even if fear is attempting to penetrate into your spirit and stop you from growing into the next level, walk through the obstacle with assurance that you are not alone nor will you finish the task alone. God is with you!

Happy Birthday!

John 3:3

"In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."

Your rebirth in Christ is not a physical experience but rather the birth of your relationship in Christ. Once you are in Christ, the old things no longer matter because you are headed towards your future and the all the goals that go along with it. Make today be your birthday; a birthday in Christ!

You Are A Miracle, So Stand Strong!

1 Chronicles 16:11-12

Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced.

No one is born weak; we become weak. When we allow weakness to overcome our purpose, God's strength has a tougher time to penetrate into the soul. Today, regardless of how weak the economy is making you feel, remember what God has already done for you. It's not just luck that you are still standing, it's the wonders He promised for you…You ARE one of God's miracles!

Strength in New Territory

Psalm 147:12-13

12Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion! 13For he strengthens the bars of your gates; he blesses your children within you.

God will not only enlarge your territory, but He will protect everything within your territory. The protection you witness when a loved one is healed or when a promotion is granted is God wrapping His arms around your situation. Hang in there and allow God to heal, protect, and strengthen you.

Well Done!

Matthew 25:21

"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'

God will test us with little projects to prepare us for bigger positions. If you are faithful as a Supervisor, you can become a Manager. If you are faithful as a Manager, you can become a Director. If you are faithful as a Director, you can become the CFO. If you are faithful as the CFO, you can become the Owner. Allow your faith to drive you through the smaller phases in life and you too can aspire to be a ruler over many!

I Am A Friend of God!

John 15:13

Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

How many of us can truly say that our friends will give up their life for us? The sacrifice Christ makes for you and I everyday is the greatest example of love and no friend on Earth can duplicate that gift; that's why I'm so glad to say, that I am a friend of God!

Taste and See

Matthew 5:13

"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men."

If you ever see people on top and then fall really fast, it's usually because something in them was revealed and it was the complete opposite of who they were portraying to be. When you've lost your flavor to inspire or lead people, you've probably lost your focus and need to tap back into what made you great before. Today, taste and see how good God is to you in your life, and keep your flavor to lead others. Remember, somebody is depending on you to be their leader.

Planning for Peace

Isaiah 26:3

You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.

Peace leaves your spirit when you find too much time to concentrate on what's wrong in your life. Today, allow your mind to stay focused on where God is taking you instead of where you've been. Peace will arrive when you let God in your plans.

Check Your Connection

John 15:5

[Jesus says,] "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing."

Your relationship with Christ is your connection to your hopes, your dreams, your goals, your purpose. Staying connected to Christ allows you to see all of these things come to fruition. The next time you lose sight of your goal, check to make sure you're still connected to the vine.

Smile Anyhow!

Ecclesiastes 7:14

When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider: God has made the one as well as the other.

We often only associate God being good to us when our lives seem in order. Remember; when those difficult times felt impossible to bear, God allowed His mercy to fix your situation. From now on, smile just as wide during bad times as you do during your good times because you are being made stronger to endure all times!

Never Give Up!

Romans 12:12

Be glad for all God is planning for you. Be patient in trouble, and always be prayerful.

Never give up on patience. Never give into tricks which will pull you away from God. No matter how far off your goal may seem, stay in prayer of patience and obedience and God will be faithful to you.

Make Every Effort To Let It Go!

Romans 14:19

Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.

Making every effort includes letting go and letting someone else speak for a change. Staying quiet for just a moment can lead the discussion to peace quicker than engaging in a word for word battle. Today, let go!

Peace Over Pride

James 5:16

Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective.

There is more to forgiveness than just saying, "I'm Sorry". In order for full restoration to take place, you must also admit your faults that led up to the separation and then pray together so that it will never happen again. Until both parties begin praying for the same healing, restoration will never happen. Today, approach the person you haven't spoken to in a long time and pray together to mend the broken relationship. Not only will you feel restored, but God will be pleased that you chose peace over pride.

Out With The Old, In With The New!

2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

Your relationship with Christ is new every day because every day, He grants new mercies. Too often, we keep our mentality stuck on the way things use to be when Christ is trying to push us into our new blessings. Today is a new so, throw away old patterns, old thinking, and old drama and look to the new things God has in store for you.

Fixed to Rejoice!

Psalm 108:1

God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.

Every type of brokenness has a source that can fix it. A broken car needs a mechanic. A broken table needs a carpenter, and a broken sink, needs a plumber. But, for things that need an internal recovery, we need God! Whatever has broken your spirit or your heart, let God fix it so that you can go back to smiling again. When God fixes something, it's forever so rejoice in feeling fixed on His promises and He will always be with you.

Prosperity Begins In You

Deuteronomy 8:18

But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today.

The love of money is evil and can throw your vision in the wrong direction, but money itself or rather the management of money is dependent on you. You have to believe that God wants you to prosper. Your skills, your talents and even that good hustle you have on the side are all part of His plan to help you produce wealth. Don't be misled that you don't need money to live; you just don't need to fall in love with it to succeed. Remember, God wants you to prosper in all that you do to live a healthy life spiritually, physically, AND financially.
