You Can’t “Double-Click” Your Blessing

Hebrews 11:11

By faith Abraham, even though he was past age -- and Sarah herself was barren -- was enabled to become a father because he considered him faithful who had made the promise.

INSPIRATION

In this day and age, we are so accustomed to receiving what we want when we want it. When we want to shop, we don't have to wait to go the store; some of us can shop right from our cell phones. When we want to meet someone, we don't have to necessarily wait until the next networking event; social networking is accessible anywhere. Unlike these resources, you can't "double click" your blessing from God. When God makes a promise, he reveals it when He thinks you're ready to handle it. The wait isn't designed to punish you, but to make you appreciate Him and His blessing even more. Today, don't give up on your request to God. More than likely, it's just delayed, but never denied.
