Isaiah 26:8

INSPIRATION
When we walk God's way, we learn to wait on His direction for our next turn. When we walk according to our own terms, we forget to listen for God. Allow your heart, mind and spirit to always be led by God and He will always direct your path.
1 Corinthians 15:57
But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
INSPIRATION
Victory, joy and happiness are yours when you know it could have only come from Jesus Christ. Let's face it, we are up against touch economic times that affect not just our finances, but our health, our mind set, and even our will to succeed at times. But, if you keep just a glimpse of your victory in your sight, you will continue to work hard to see your way through. Remember it is the Jesus in you that gives you the victory!
James 1:5
If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.
INSPIRATION
Wisdom from people will only get you so far; but Divine wisdom is intended to give you direction to soar. If you find yourself needing to make a decision in your life, don't start with Google search because Google wasn't there when you were formed. Only God who created you can direct your paths because only He knows what you can handle. Today, seek Divine direction.
Job 8:21
"He will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy."
INSPIRATION
It is an awesome feeling to be able to look back over your life and laugh at some of the obstacles you overcame, which at that time seemed impossible to achieve. An even more awesome feeling is being able to laugh at whatever is standing in your way right now, because if you can laugh at it, then it's not big enough to scare you. When you approach difficulty with complete joy, knocking it down will be just that much easier to do and you will have the last laugh!
Deuteronomy 29:29
The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.
INSPIRATION
It's a secret for a reason! If we knew God's plans for our lives, then we wouldn't appreciate the process of growing in the Lord. During the process, we ought to grow in faith, love and trust so that when He is ready to reveal His miracle in our lives, we will be able to look back and see how much we've grown. Not only is God watching, but so are our children. Let them be a witness to your faith and they will imitate that behavior.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: if one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!
INSPIRATION
The reason no two people are the same is because we need differences to sharpen one another. If all of us knew the exact same thing there would be no need to encourage one another. Therefore, find out who sharpens you and together, devise a plan that will bring the both of you up. Together, you will be advanced and with God, you will continue to grow.
Philippians 3:13-14
One thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
INSPIRATION
Forgetting past pains is not always easy to do, but it is necessary in order for you to move on. If you can't forget completely, then try remembering differently. If you can't forget how bad they hurt you, or how hard the economy has affected your finances, or whatever it is that you keep looking back on; then remember differently. Remember that through it all, God still kept you! Last time I checked, you can't press and look backwards at the same time so today, remember differently and move forward.

Praise the LORD, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
INSPIRATION
By now, hurricane Irene has left the area and many of us have begun to dig ourselves out of our homes. As we assess the damage, some have lost a lot and some experienced minimal damage. Some lost power, cable, internet, and even the ability to leave their home. Yet, through it all, we can be thankful for the important things we didn't lose. What this reminds me to do is that even during turbulent times, not to lose our praise! While we experience shaky moments in our life, remember who is still in charge! God is still worthy of our praise because today, we can still find a reason to be thankful. So let's clean up the mess, help our neighbors and most of all, and remain grateful!
Luke 12:3
What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs.
INSPIRATION
The reason why most secrets end up getting out is because sometimes, the shock of your own secret catches you so off guard, that you can't help but tell someone about it. AND, as much and as often as you say, "Don't tell anyone," that same shock value is still in effect and will be told to others, and others, and others! Today, you better be sure that whatever you can't keep to yourself, is something that will not come back to haunt you in the days to come. My advice, tell it to Jesus who you know will not tell anyone!
Psalm 94:18
When I said, "My foot is slipping," your love, O LORD, supported me.
INSPIRATION
It is God's love which lifts you when you can't feel love from anyone else. It is God's love which brings us out of darkness when the light cannot be found. It is God's love that touches you every morning to wake up and achieve goals beyond your imagination. Today, allow God's love to support you in all your decisions. Even if you feel yourself slipping, know that your support is standing right there waiting to catch you.
