Pain Relief

Jeremiah 31:16 "This is what the LORD says: "Restrain your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears, for your work will be rewarded," declares the LORD. "They will return from the land of the enemy." INSPIRATION: Yes, a good cry is good for the soul. It cleanses and it removes the immediate pain you are feeling; but, at some point, the crying and the worrying must stop in order for you to move on. Once you begin to move on, your focus is clearer and you can get back to the important things in life; like your goals! Today, push yourself through any pain to reach your reward!

Order In the Room!

Isaiah 50:4 "He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being taught." INSPIRATION: The moment you open your eyes in the morning, you automatically begin to think about the 1^st thing you need to do. Is it to turn on the coffee pot? Is it to wake up the family? Is it to start breakfast? Before crowding your head with your agenda, just lay still and talk to God first. From now on, if you truly wish to be taught by Him, listen for God in the morning and you will find that your day will have order.

Created Well In Advance

Ephesians 2:10 "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." INSPIRATION: The reason why all of us do not have the same job is because we were not born with the same skill set. Each of us has a specific purpose and destiny to fulfill according to God's plan for His Kingdom. If you have been feeling out of place in your current walk of life, perhaps maybe it is time to self evaluate and find your true purpose. Remember, you were created in advance to do well.

The Grace In You

Romans 12:21 "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." INSPIRATION: Attacking evil with evil never solves the problem. In fact, it intensifies the drama and the relationship suffers. If you just use softer language to get your point across, you won't appear as evil, sarcastic or cynical. Today, put the rage away and use the grace within you to resolve situations.

Laying Down the Law

Joshua 24:15 "But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD." INSPIRATION: When you lay the law down in your house, make sure it sticks! No matter what others all around you are trying to persuade you to believe in, continue to tap into the choice which has always brought you through...Jesus and Jesus alone!

Psalm 71:8 "My mouth is filled with your praise, declaring your splendor all day long." INSPIRATION: When Friday usually arrives, a lot of us can't help yelling out, "TGIF!" Well, start thinking about just how good God has been to you all week. Through all of the ups and downs, the tears, the laughs, the good, the bad, and the ugly, YOU STILL MADE IT! All day today, let us TGHG….Thank God He's God!

INSPIRATION: When problems and challenges consume all your thoughts, it becomes harder for you to see your way out because you've allowed these obstacles to seize your dreams of success. Whatever challenges you face, know that an exit plan has already been designed for you to make a different decision. Today, don't just face your challenge, knock it over and claim your success!

Encouraged to the End

Joshua 1:9 [God says,] "Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." INSPIRATION: You have to know within the depths of your heart that when you made the decision to start your own business, to buy your first home, or to go back to school that God was with you. God planted His spirit in you to complete these goals and to complete them with courage. Right now, even if you can't determine where the finishing line is, stay encouraged, God's got your back!

If It Doesn’t Fit, You Must Acquit!

Jonah 2:8 "Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs." INSPIRATION: Anything that holds you from obtaining excellence is not worth holding onto. God's grace is not just for us to read about or just to experience; but rather, it is for us to grab hold of and keep holding onto while we work and strive for excellence. Today, take good inventory. The late Johnny Cochran said it best, "If it doesn't fit, you must acquit!" In other words, get rid of the dead weight!

Stand Firm

Isaiah 40:8 "The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever." INSPIRATION: If you're feeling unsure of what is dependable, reliable, or even consistent, try God! Cell phones, cars, and other gadgets that we love so much can let us down, break us apart and attempt to defeat our souls; but standing on God's word affirms in you that wherever you stand or go, the ground you land on will always be solid. Today, stand firm on His word and remain confident in all that you do.
